How do I order the event jersey?

This year's Country Coast Classic Event Jersey can be ordered directly from Voler.com. The jersey can be ordered at any time prior to or even after the Ride Day.

How do I order the event t-shirt?

The event t-shirt can be conveniently ordered with your registration by U.S. Mail or on the Active.com website. Any questions regarding t-shirt orders can be answered by emailing the Country Coast Classic Bike Ride.

How do I get to the Pinedorado Grounds (940 Main Street, Cambria)?

From Highway 101 North and South, take Highway 46 West 22 miles to Highway 1
Travel North or right turn 4 miles on Highway 1 to Cambria
Exit right turn at Cambria drive, stay to the left
Left turn on to Main Street, turn left into the Veterans Memorial Building parking lot. Parking is also available along Main Street.

Where and when do we check-in for the ride?

Friday - From 4-5:30pm - Santa Rosa Parish Hall, 1174 Main Street, Cambria CA 93428
Saturday - Ride day from 7:00-10am at the Pinedorado Grounds, 940 Main Street, Cambria, CA 93428

When can we start riding?

Ride day at the Pinedorado Grounds -- ¾ century riders - 7am to 9am, ½ century riders - 8am to 10am, ¼ century riders - 9am to 10am

Are E-Bikes Allowed?

Pedal-assisted electric bicycles are allowed as long as they meet the requirements under Califonia law. Riders must follow the rules of the road established by the vehicle code.

Riders should make sure their battery has enough range to complete the distance. SAG vehicles may not be able to carry an e-bike because of their weight; therefore, riders must be able to pedal their bikes back to the starting area.

Can someone else check-in for me?

No, all riders must check-in in person and show a photo ID.

When do I receive my registration materials and any clothing I ordered?

When you check-in for the ride. If you do not attend the ride, your clothing will be mailed to you.

What is the parking situation in Cambria?

Parking is available in the Veteran's Memorial Building parking lot next to the Pinedorado Grounds or along both sides of Main Street. Wherever you park, be sure to be off the roadway pavement.

How do I find motels and vacation rentals?

Contact the Cambria Chamber of Commerce at 805-927-3624 or online. Make your reservations early as Cambria motels and vacation rentals often sell out.

What are area camping options?

Camping is available nearby at San Simeon State Beach - Camping / Day Use located 1 mile north of Cambria, 927-2020 Info: Reservations: 800-444-7275 133 developed sites, No Hookups, campers to 35', 70 primitive sites, restrooms, picnic tables, fire pits, hiking, rock and surf fishing, ocean bathing. Charge for hot showers.

What is the weather like in November?

The normal weather for Cambria in November are foggy mornings followed by sunny days with temperatures between 54°F and 68°F. The inland high temperatures can range between 70°F and 90°F. The KSBY weather forecast for Cambria (Zip code is 93428) can be checked online. The ride will be held rain or shine.

Can I register on the day of the ride?

Registration is available on the day of the ride but *shirts and BBQ meals cannot be guaranteed*

Do you serve food at the rest stops?

The rest stops are well stocked with various fruits, cookies, snacks and drinks. Our famous post ride BBQ at the Pindorado Grounds is included for all riders.

 
When does the course close?

The course closes at 4pm. Riders who cannot complete the course by 4pm will be offered a SAG ride to the start and will be on their own if they turn the offer down. Rest Stops close based on riders being on schedule to complete the course by 4pm. The Ragged Point Rest Stop closes at 2pm and Vista Point Rest Stops close at 3pm.

Can I purchase additional post-ride BBQ tickets?

Extra post-ride BBQ tickets can be purchased for non-riders at the event for $20.00.

Where is the post-ride BBQ dinner held?

The post-ride BBQ dinner will be held at the Pinedorado Grounds from Noon to 4:00 pm. Additionally, a no-host pub with local premium wines and micro brew from our own 927 Beer Company are offered for your post ride enjoyment. "Happy Hour" starts at 11:30am. The Pinedorado Grounds close at 4:30pm.
